Kids Mindful Movement: Summer Series (Ages 5 - 9)

Join Jacque and let your little ones move, breathe, and play! This four-week series introduces kids ages 5 to 9 to the basics of mindful movement through playful yoga, breathwork, and relaxation practices. Each session is designed to nurture focus, self-awareness, and emotional resilience—all while having fun and staying active. Led in a welcoming and creative environment, this series encourages children to connect with their bodies, notice their feelings, and build inner calm.

No prior experience needed.

    Jacque Sweet is a yoga instructor, a mentor, and a director and educator in yoga immersion and teacher training programs at BYC. Her teachings stem from her extensive study with Karen Sprute-Francovich in the Anusara Yoga Methodology. Anusara is a Hatha style of yoga with strong emphasis on alignment starting in the foundation of a pose, a deep connection with our breath and upholding quality of heart while integratively moving.

    Her specialties include inspired theme-weaving, functional and fluid movement with refined language in principles of alignment and support in empowering one another. In her yoga classes, Jacque strives to awaken a sense of whole body aliveness in her students and an opportunity to be present and one with the grand pulse of it all. She is forever grateful to heal and grow through yoga and community.
